Temporary protection in the EU is temporary.
Yes, at the EU level it has been extended until March 2027. This is the official legal framework.
But at the same time, states are beginning to move from an emergency assistance regime to the standard migration system.
Poland has already begun its legal restructuring.
This is not "cancellation tomorrow." It is a transition.
And transition periods are precisely the most difficult.
Why?
Because at such moments:
- the number of applications increases
- checks become stricter
- the approach to documents becomes more formal
- real refusals appear because of mistakes
The main question is not whether protection will be cancelled.
The main question is what your ground for living in Romania will be if the temporary mechanism is no longer sufficient.
There are not many options:
✔️ employment ✔️ business activity ✔️ family ground
But all of this requires structure.
Opening a company is possible. Getting a residence permit is possible. But only with proper preparation.
Registering an SRL ≠ automatic status. Sham activity ≠ legalization.
Only a system works:
- the right CAEN codes
- accounting
- tax discipline
- proof of income
- a correct application
And that is exactly what we do.
If you plan to live in Romania long-term, the decision needs to be made in advance.
Not in the last month. Not at a time when migration services are overloaded.
